In House Prosthetics Lab
We feel it is a huge benefit to the patient to know we have an In-House Prosthetics Lab. We have a team of denturists that are highly skilled and trained in full arch, fixed and removable prosthetics. We have the ability to make a denture rather fixed or removable from our dental office. Our lab technicians are on site and frequently visit the patients along with Dr. Hendriks to get a better understanding of what the patient wants in his or her smile. We work very hard to make sure every patient ends up with the perfect smile custom created just for them. We want every patient to be proud and confident with their smile and having direct access to the artist creating their dream smile ensures they will be happy!
When it comes to being at the forefront of the dental implant industry, technology is what separates one office from the next. We use the DWX-51D because it is the top-of-the-line when it comes to dental milling machines. It includes a unique software and hardware interface that allows us to create customized teeth to enhance your smile. With this machine we are able to keep the whole process of dental implants in our office to be supervised by our experienced staff.
DEKA Co2 Laser
At Dream Dental we like to give our patients the best overall experience. Surgery can be scary and most people worry about the recovery and pain. With the DEKA Co2 Laser our patients are getting the most predictible, least invasive surgery possible. The DEKA Co2 Laser pulses in microsecond bursts that allow for quick and efficient cuts. Pulsing the laser energy allows the surrounding tissue an opportunity to cool and minimizes the trauma to the surrounding tissue. The DEKA Smart CO2 laser also seals blood vessels which minimizes bleeding during surgery, seals nerve endings to minimize patient discomfort. This greatly reduces the amount of post-operative pain our patients experience. Our patients can expect virtually bloodless oral surgery, greatly reduced post op swelling and patient discomfort and reduced the risk of infection with laser treatment.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT Scan)
Our most important piece of technology is our CBCT Scan machine. This machine takes 3D Radiographic Images of the maxilopfacial cranial hard tissues. It is extremely important to have a 3D scan taken when implant placement is a possibility. It shows important anatomy sites such as the sinuses and main nerve chanels. When using the CBCT scan while placing implants we can effectively control the placement of the implants and ensure the patient the best outcome after surgery. It is capable of measuring the bone and hard tissues down to .2 mm voxel (VOlume piXEL). We are able to leverage the incredible image detail of 3D to provide more accurate diagnoses, improved treatment planning and more efficient patient care.
Trios 3 Shape Intra-oral Scanner
The Trios 3 Shape Intra-oral Scanner is the cutting edge in digital dentistry. With the wave of a wand we can take a virtual impression of the patient’s entire mouth. No more cold, runny goo that gags you during your dental visits! This scanner can take a digital impression of just a specific tooth or the entire upper and lower arches. The impressions can be directly sent to the dental lab via email, which cuts the lab processing time in half! It can also take a digital shade providing the patient the most accurate and natural looking restorations.
L-PRF (Leukocyte-Platelet Rich Fibrin) Grafting
L-PRF is the lastest discovery in wound healing technology. The “L” represents White blood cells (WBCs), also called leukocytes or leucocytes, they are the cells of the immune system that are involved in protecting the body against both infectious disease and foreign invaders. After activation of the platelets which are trapped within fibrin matrix, growth factors release and stimulate responses in the wound during normal healing for repair of the hard and soft tissues. At Dream Dental, this procedure is used with every surgery and helps to promote quicker healing, less inflammation, and less swelling. The blood is drawn from the patient and processed with in minutes of being placed back into the patients wound site. Our patients have expressed a noticable difference in their healing with the additional procedure compared to other dental surgeries they have had without L-PRF.
Dental Scan with Digital Occlusal Analysis
The T-Scan is dentistry’s only digital occlusal analysis system. This dental scan device gives clinicians accurate 2D and 3D representations of bite forces complete with timing information relative to dental occlusion. This valuable information is needed to easily determine and restore the perfect balance the patient’s bite.
